Day   1. ~ A picture of yourself with 15 facts.

1. ~  I am a Spirit filled, born again Christian.

2. ~  I try to live as a witness for Jesus Christ.

3. ~  I am married with children & grandchildren.

4. ~  I try daily renewing my mind in the Word.

 5. ~  I live in the Pines & love nature.

6. ~  I love being retired & home with my husband.

7. ~  I love electronics and technology & reading.

8. ~  This picture of me is a computer generated picture with my face and a hair color and style I am trying out.

9. ~  I have always wanted to be a missionary; and after all these years, I finally realized that I am doing exactly what the Lord wants me to do... all this time I kept waiting for the time that I would be sent... only to find out that I've been called to Home missions... and evangelism of sorts, on a one to one basis.

10. ~ I have a dog named "Princess Von Parent", a Black Cocker Spaniel with white markings under her neck and on her chest with deep blue eyes. I also have 2 cats, Snigglefritz, the older dominant one & Tiger, my Prince.

11. ~  I have 2 chickens & one beautiful white Rooster, free reign, giving us fresh organic, brown eggs daily.

12. ~ I have deer walking through our yard daily, beautiful birds, Wild ducks, Geese, beautiful white Egrets, standing so tall, Snapper turtles that cross from the lake across the street through our yard, and into the stream behind our home to lay their eggs every year, now for 25 years that we've been here, and the miracle is that they take the same path, each year and know where they are going... through the thick wooded area crossing the dirt road and back into the lake, wild fox, and other wildlife that bring me joy.

13. ~ I am working on my family tree for each side of my family, for years now as one of my projects that I pick up and work on now and again, along with several other of my cousins... as we share information.

14. ~ I have a mixed Nationality, of Italian, Polish, English & Jewish.

15. ~ I love being a servant to my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.

Day   2. ~ A picture here, note about a person you have been close with for a while.
My mom <3. It goes without saying is the person in my life that I have been closest to for not just a while but for my whole life.
She is my best friend and one of the most important people and influences in my life. She has taught me to love unconditionally, to forgive immediately, to be careful what I say, and to pray for those less fortunate. She read the Proverbs to me growing up & taught me to be strong. I admire her loyalty, strength, endurance, independence and talent.  She can run circles around me, never running out of energy, full of faith, never giving up, sustaining herself as she relies on God for her future, step by step, in faith and trusting HIM for all her needs (and HE DOES SUPPLY her NEEDS according to HIS riches and in Glory through Christ Jesus).

She will never turn anyone away from her door. She is the most hospitable people I've ever known. No one ever comes that she doesn't give them not only a warm feeling and a shoulder if necessary, but also feeds them wonderful food, and oh, can she cook and bake. You will never have a visit with her that she has not made you feel welcome, encouraged, and filled spiritually as well as physically. She has said many things to me over the years, but the one I remember and quote often, is: "you can do anything you put your mind to".

She sang to me as a child when I was sick, which was often... and even when I was not sick. I grew up with the sounds of my mothers voice singing each morning, I loved it. I then made it a part of my life as I raised my children. One song in particular was "Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day; I have a beautiful feeling that everything's going my way... " and so many more as well as some from the movie... "Oklahoma".  I loved every moment of my childhood. The youngest memory I have of my mother is her singing to me while making a shadow show for me with a sheet when I was sick, in a crib as a baby. <3 I am truly blessed.

Day   3. ~ A picture of the cast of your favorite show.
The Sound of Music Then & Now
I Love this show for so many reasons.
One because it's a musical, a beautiful love story, wholesome and heartwarming. Plus, I just love Julie Andrews.  There are so many other shows I could have chosen, but this is the one that kept coming back to me, has been a favorite for so many years, and I will never tire of it.

Day   4. ~ A habit you wish you didn't have...
Talking too much when I'm nervous... :(

Day   5. ~ A picture of your favorite memory.
<3 The Day We Were Married <3

Day   6. ~ A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.
This a picture of my  Grandmother as a child studying for Ballet. I would love to have been there the day she met my Grandfather and know how they felt working together when they met on Broadway. She being a Prima Ballerina and he a Tap Dancer and Producer . Just thinking about that joy they must have felt dancing and entertaining, makes me smile.

One of the things I had always wanted to do was to be a dancer and singer. But, as it is written, I am satisfied with my present circumstances and my life today is how it should be, and I am happy.  I love my life and where God has Placed me in HIS wisdom for such a time as this.

Day   7. ~ A picture of your most treasured item.
<3 My almost 29 years of Marriage <3
at our favorite vacationing place, shown in the picture,
on the left, the Coastline of Maine.

Day   8. ~ A picture that makes you laugh.
My husband is always doing something to make me laugh, and this is one of the most recent... in fact everyone was laughing... at a family gathering.

Day   9. ~ A picture of a person who has gotten you through the most.
My husband, Fred who has been there for me for over 30 years through thick and thin and picked me up when I was at my lowest, and made me happier than I ever knew I could be... Truly a God send and an answer to my prayers.

Day 10. ~ A picture of the person you'd do the craziest things with.
That would absolutely have to be my sister-in-law, Dottie; she just knows how to have fun and make me do things I would never do  or even think of, LOL, if I weren't with her... she has no worries about what others might be thinking, she just wants to have fun, and she does. She will do almost, whatever it takes to make you have fun and laugh. If there is anyone you want to have at a party to make it a success, it is my Dottie <3

Day 11. ~ A picture of something you do not like.
This is a picture of me when I was a child; and the thing I do not like is how short my mother used to cut my bangs!!! LOL <3 ugh x0x0x0

Day 12. ~ A picture of something you love.
I Love My Family
My immediate family, includes our six children,
eight grand children, Fred and myself.

Day 13. ~ A picture of your favorite band or artist.
Josh Groban is my favorite artist; I love his voice.

Day 14. ~ A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.
My husband, Fred <3 the Love of my Life ~ I love this picture of him on the Iron overlooking NYC across the Hudson River... taking a brake. I prayed everyday he left for work, and asked the LORD, to send Angels with him to protect him and bring him home to me safely, and He did. My husband is now retired; thank you, Jesus. I would never even want to imagine what my life would be without him.

Day 15. ~ A picture of something you want to do before you die.
A picture of Teramo, Italy, where my  Grandparents, were born and lived until they moved to America. My grandmother and her brother grew up in on the coast of the Adriatic sea... I would love to visit there. My cousins who still live in the area, use the old house for their summer home.

Day 16. ~ A picture or note about someone who inspires you.
Jesus Christ inspires me every day when I read His Word, where I find, peace, love and joy, unspeakable.

Day 17. ~ A picture of someone who's made a
Hugh impact in your life recently.
For more reasons than I can explain, my youngest Daughter, hands down, has to be the person who has made the most impact on my life recently... she has not only been a wonderful daughter, but a beautiful friend. I dreamed all my life of having a close, loving and special relationship with my children, and she has given that to me, and been there for me when ever I've needed a friend and daughter. She is there for me in more ways than I can express in words. She respects me, sincerely... in fact, the respect we have for each other is mutual.  In addition to all of this, we have our special times and discussions about the Lord, which I love and appreciate; I can talk to her about the Lord and Bible in a way that I can not do with others. She understands me! Thank You, Kimmi

Day 18. ~ A picture of your biggest insecurity.
This is a picture that describes for me and confrontation; I would have to say, my biggest insecurity, is confrontation, with anyone about anything!

Day 19. ~ A picture of you when you were little.
Here is a picture of me at approximately three months old.

Day 20. ~ A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel.
I place I would love to visit most, is Piccadilly Circus, in England where my Grandparents were raised. It's been  told to me that my grandfather used love going there.

In addition, I have been working on our family tree and I think it would be beneficial for me to actually be there, in person to do the research I so desire, (yet to finish). There is something I can't really describe about wanting to go there. I almost feel as though a magnet is drawing me there...

Day 21. ~ A picture of something you wish you could forget.
This is a picture of something I wish I could forget and happens all too often. <3 Abortion <3 But, at the same time, if we don't remember it, and share awareness about it, nothing will be done to stop it.

I think every woman has the right to know and understand what is happening inside her body before making such a drastic decision. Sadly, it happens without a parent's consent and without  understanding, education, with fear, and not ever having gotten good sound counsel. Not often enough will they hear what the consequences could or would be, until it is too late. Then they have to live with the consequences which can be devastating, physically and mentally.

But the Truth sets you free... and a beautiful child being born into this world is a miracle. There are  so many woman who want to adopt, there are no excuses  for abortion, today, in my opinion.

I am a strong advocate of Life, all Life has a soul and is a gift from God belonging only to HIM. It is written... I knew you before you were born, while you were still in your mothers womb...  (paraphrased by me).

No matter the situation, this is a life we are talking about. No one knows the future, but I have heard multiudes of testimonies on the subject... one being a rape victim and the actual child that was almost aborted who is grateful now that she did not abort her child, and the child as well grateful to her mother.

Here are some examples of the Fetus from 18 through 20 weeks:

At Eighteen Weeks

The fetus is now about 5 inches long. The child blinks, grasps, and moves her mouth. Hair grows on the head and body.

20 weeks: The child can hear and recognize mother's voice. Though still small and fragile, the baby is growing rapidly and could possibly survive if born at this stage. Fingernails and fingerprints appear. Sex organs are visible. Using an ultrasound device, the doctor can tell if the child is a girl or a boy. The one on the left is a baby girl.

I can hardly bear to even type this procedure but it must be done...

Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) This is very graphic & grievous to say the least.

This method is used up to 18 weeks' gestation. Instead of the loop-shaped knife used in D&C abortions, a pair of forceps is inserted into the womb to grasp part of the fetus. The teeth of the forceps twist and tear the bones of the unborn child. This process is repeated until the fetus is totally dismembered and removed. Usually the spine must be snapped and the skull crushed in order to remove them.

Day 22. ~ A picture of something you wish you were better at.
I Love the playing the piano, but even though I started taking lessons at  five years old, and continued to play until this day, I was never satisfied with my nervousness as far as playing in front of other people. I think it stems from never playing at a recital, yearly, like many piano teachers have their students do. Never having that experience could be part of the problem in addition to my shyness. So, I would love to play more often in front of others, whatever I want, whenever I want, without being nervous. That is my desire.

Day 23. ~ A picture of your favorite book.
<3  My Bible <3

Day 24. ~ A picture of something you wish you could change.
I know, and believe in order to keep the freedom in our Country, it is important  for our men and women to go to war. But, if I could, I would change that. I would bring them all home from around the world.

I know I can't because, as it is written... there will be wars and rumors of wars until HE, Jesus Christ returns, to take back His Kingdom on this earth, and bring Real Peace.

I have several young family members who have already gone on to  other nations to protect and defend our Country, and  still others are preparing to go. The picture above is one of my family members already sent to Afghanastan. Please keep them in prayer. I am praying with all my heart as I know many of you are as well, that the Lord will bring them home safely.  Amen & Amen. We are told to pray for our leaders, nations, and the peace of Jerusalem until HE returns, and, so I am.

Day 25. ~ A picture of your day.

A typical Day like today started out with prayer and bible reading, with some light housework, then finding out about the horrific earthquake of 8.9 magnitude in Japan this morning, and all those touched by it. The tsunamis kept me glued to the TV for a large part of the day and in between a wonderful visit from my youngest daughter, we prayed together for all in need and had a nice conversation. Then my husband came in from cutting down some trees behind our home, that could cause potential damage to our property.
The end the day we enjoyed a warm bowl of home made Black Bean Soup for dinner. The rest of the night,we did some reading before retiring for the evening <3.

Day 26. ~ A picture of something that means a lot to you.

Our Home ~  because, Home is where your heart is <3.
It's not just a house, but a home. We've been here for 25 years and the memories and beauty will always be special to me, as you look at the pictures you will see how serene ,beautiful and quiet the area is here in the Pines which we call home on this rugged dirt road where we raised our children. The last picture is of the sunrise coming up over the trees in front of our home as you see here, it hits the front of our house with a bright light, but on the last picture it has come up over to the back and hits the trees behind our house giving beautiful colors through the trees. I am counting my blessings.

Day 27. ~ A picture of yourself and a family member.
A picture of my husband and me on our wedding day.

Day 28. ~ A picture of something you're afraid of.
~ 911 Attack on the United States of America ~
I am afraid of the United States falling away from the freedom that God has so graciously bestowed upon us with blessings because we have been ONE NATION UNDER  GOD My bible tells me,  that if my people shall pray and seek MY FACE, turn from their wicked ways and call on ME I will hear their prayer, and I will heal their land...  I believe the WORD of GOD as TRUTH and Pray that our nation and leaders have ears to hear... what could be... and Listen with their hearts, and Not fight against God, but protect our constitution and liberties, including standing strong as a friend with Israel. It is also written in Zechariah that GOD will fight those nations that come against Israel in the last days trying to split Jerusalem in half.... LORD HELP US <3 I pray, in the Mighty, Matchless Name of our LORD and Only Savior, Jesus, the Christ.

Day 29. ~ A picture that can always make you smile.
This Picture makes me smile every time I look at it. It brings back so many wonderful memories.  I love looking at their sweet faces. It was so special when they were all home and around me every day... but life goes on and things change. They've all grown into young adults with families of their own. Moms, please enjoy every moment with your children, now. They grow so fast, and before you know it, they are out and on their own. I love & miss all of my children so much, and  that is why this picture, makes me smile.
~  AND THIS PICTURE BELOW ALSO MAKES ME SMILE ~
A picture of my husband & me together always makes me smile
He is my soul mate.
Day 30. ~ A picture of someone you miss.

This is a picture of my mother-in-law, AKA, Mummer as she was lovingly called by all. She is shown here with my youngest daughter, her youngest grandchild, and one of our many cats, Shelly, whom Mummer loved having on her lap.
And so, there you have it... my 30 days...
Love & Blessings to all, Susie

  2. Thank you, AJ <3 I know, I love that picture, too, she just wasn't born yet LOL <3 It is funny you should mention that, because when I was posting that picture I was actually sad inside that she was not VISIBLE in the picture, but she was already in the Heart of God as a Gift ready to give us... <3
