How the Passover Reveals Jesus Christ

Happy Passover

If you want a nutshell, but great example with Understanding of HOW JESUS IS THE PASSOVER LAMB you will really enjoy this short glimpse into how GOD prepares everything for a purpose and how every Prophecy is/was and will be fulfilled IN and throug Jesus THE CHRIST...

I loved it, and hope you enjoy this, too... Happy Passover... PS Jesus Celebrated Passover and Was the Passover Lamb, who now covers the doors of our hearts spiritually with HIS BLOOD the Perfect Lamb. ♥ ♥ ♥

Galatians 2:20 Amplified Bible (AMP)
20I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

How the Passover Reveals Jesus Christ

by Rich Deem

Introduction

The festival of the Passover has been celebrated by Jews for thousands of years. It is the retelling of the great story of how God redeemed the Jewish nation from enslavement in Egypt.1 The celebration itself was given to the Jews while they were still in Egypt.2 The original celebration centered around the Passover lamb, which was sacrificed and its blood put over the doorposts as a sign of faith, so that the Lord passed over the houses of the Jews during the last plague poured out on the Egyptians - the killing of every firstborn.3 To a large degree, the Passover lamb has been eliminated from the Passover festival (with the only remnant being the roasted lamb shank bone).4 The New Testament says that Jesus is our sacrificial Lamb.5 The Passover lamb was to be a "male without defect,"6 which is the same description given to Jesus.7 In addition, when the lamb was roasted and eaten, none of its bones were to be broken.8 This fact was also prophesized for the Messiah, whose bones were not to be broken.9 It was customary during crucifixion to break the leg bones of the person after a few hours in order to hasten their death. The only way a person could breathe when hanging on a cross was to push up with his legs, which was very exhausting. By breaking the legs, death followed soon by asphyxiation. However, in the case of Jesus, they broke the legs of the other two men, but did not break His, since He was already dead.10

Passover symbolism

Much of the symbolism of Jesus' last Passover week is lost to us because we are unaware of the customs of the time. For example, Jesus came into the city of Jerusalem five days before the lamb was killed in the temple as the Passover sacrifice for the sins of the people of Israel. Five days before the lamb was to be sacrificed, it was chosen. Therefore, Jesus entered Jerusalem on lamb selection day as the lamb of God.11 The people did not understand the significance of this, since they greeted Him with palm branches12 and hailed Him as King,13 shouting "Hosanna,"14 which means "save us." However, they were not looking for a spiritual Savior, but a political savior. Palm branches were a symbol of freedom and defiance, since Simon Maccabeus had entered Jerusalem with that symbolism.15 Jesus' reaction was to weep,16 since He realized that they did not understand the Messiah's purpose in coming.

Passover sacrifice

The day Jesus was crucified was the day of the Passover celebration and the day that the Passover lamb was to be sacrificed. For the previous 1,200 years, the priest would blow the shophar (ram's horn) at 3:00 p.m. - the moment the lamb was sacrificed, and all the people would pause to contemplate the sacrifice for sins on behalf of the people of Israel. At 3:00,17 when Jesus was being crucified, He said, "It is finished"18 - at the moment that the Passover lamb was sacrificed and the shophar was blown from the Temple. The sacrifice of the lamb of God was fulfilled at the hour that the symbolic animal sacrifice usually took place. At the same time, the veil of the Temple (a three-inch thick, several story high cloth that demarked the Holy of Holies19) tore from top to bottom20 - representing a removal of the separation between God and man. Fifty days later, on the anniversary of the giving of the law (Pentecost), God left the earthly temple to inhabit those who call on the name of Jesus through His Holy Spirit.21

Burial

The festival of unleavened bread began Friday evening (at sunset). As part of the festival, the Jews would take some of the grain - the "first fruits" of their harvest - to the Temple to offer as a sacrifice. In so doing, they were offering God all they had and trusting Him to proved the rest of the harvest. It was at this point that Jesus was buried - planted in the ground - as He said right before His death.22 Paul refers to Jesus as the first fruits of those raised from the dead in 1 Corinthians.23 As such, Jesus represents the fulfillment of God's promise to provide the rest of the harvest - resurrection of those who follow the Messiah.

Resurrection

matzah - striped and piercedChristian symbolism in the Passover occurs early in the Seder (the Passover dinner). Three matzahs are put together (representing the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). The middle matzah is broken,24 wrapped in a white cloth, and hidden, representing the death and burial of Jesus.25 The matzah itself is designed to represent Jesus, since it is striped and pierced, which was prophesized by Isaiah, 26 David,27 and Zechariah.28 Following the Seder meal, the "buried" matzah is "resurrected," which was foretold in the prophecies of David.29

Christian communion

It was during a Passover seder30 that Jesus proclaimed that the meal represented Himself and that He was instituting the New Covenant, which was foretold by Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Isaiah.31 The celebration of this covenant has become the ordinance of communion in the Christian Church. At the end of the meal, Jesus took the unleavened bread, broke it, and said that it represented His body.32 Then He took the cup of wine, which would have been the third cup of the Seder - the cup of redemption. He said that it was the new covenant in His blood "poured out for you."33 It is through the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we are declared clean before God, allowing those of us who choose to accept the pardon, to commune with Him - both now and forevermore through the eternal life He offers.

Conclusion Top of page

If you are a Christian, I encourage you to celebrate the Passover with your friends and neighbors. Our family has been doing this for the last six years and have used the celebration as a way of sharing the gospel of Christ in a fun and non-threatening manner. For more information on how you can celebrate your own Passover Seder, see the related pages below.

Isaiah 53:3-9 New Living Translation (NLT)
3 He was despised and rejected—
a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief.
We turned our backs on him and looked the other way.
He was despised, and we did not care.
4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried;
it was our sorrows[a] that weighed him down.
And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God,
a punishment for his own sins!
5 But he was pierced for our rebellion,
crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed.
6 All of us, like sheep, have strayed away.
We have left God’s paths to follow our own.
Yet the Lord laid on him
the sins of us all.
7 He was oppressed and treated harshly,
yet he never said a word.
He was led like a lamb to the slaughter.
And as a sheep is silent before the shearers,
he did not open his mouth.
8 Unjustly condemned,
he was led away.[b]
No one cared that he died without descendants,
that his life was cut short in midstream.[c]
But he was struck down
for the rebellion of my people.
9 He had done no wrong
and had never deceived anyone.
But he was buried like a criminal;
he was put in a rich man’s grave.

Footnotes:
Isaiah 53:4 Or Yet it was our sicknesses he carried; / it was our diseases.
Isaiah 53:8 Greek version reads He was humiliated and received no justice. Compare Acts 8:33.
Isaiah 53:8 Or As for his contemporaries, / who cared that his life was cut short in midstream? Greek version reads Who can speak of his descendants? / For his life was taken from the earth. Compare Acts 8:33.

THE POWER OF THE TONGUE

THE POWER OF THE TONGUE

To All those I Whom I love

Proverbs 18:21
Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

To all my FaceBook Family & Firends:
I am NOT going anywhere...
I will still be checking in and praying, following along to keep up with important updates with so many of my family and friends, whom without, this, (FB) I might not have had contact with, for which I am so grateful ♥

I will however, be being quiet for a while, which I think is the best way to put it... after some time in prayer the other day, the LORD, I believe, spoke to my heart through some verses one of which I started with above. If you want to read more info on why and see a short video clip of why...  there is a video below <3

FORWORD:

During my time of prayer and meditation this morning, I was thinking about how important our words are. After a short time of looking for a picture of someone covering their mouths, I decided to video myself speaking the WORD out loud COVERING MY OWN MOUTH, because the WORD does have so much power, And because I am a visual learner.

I though for the sake of this video I would also cover my mouth to show that our mouths/tongues/lips, are so important... and as it is written, good and bad water does not flow from the same fountain.

SOUND DETAIL IN VIDEO CLIP ~ONE MORE very important detail: I have at this point in my life, NO CONTROL OF MY VOCAL CHORDS, so, in light of this factor, you might want to turn up the volume on your laptop or put a headset on to hear it better (for me that helps with the volume... if you choose to read along with, or just listen, to my video taping... my voice is very soft.  If you listen closely you shouldn't have a problem if your laptop volume is good, mine is not, it should be a problem.

Lastly, you might want to make the print larger for easier viewing on your laptop or device. (that can be done on most devices. I Know on my PC I just Click the CTRL & + sign at the same time to enlarge print, FYI <3

AND SO WE BEGIN:

 THE POWER OF THE TONGUE

Proverbs 18:21
Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Proverbs 10:19
19 When there are many words, sin is unavoidable,
but the one who controls his lips is wise.
Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

Psalm 34:13
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.

Psalm 35:28
And my tongue shall talk of Your righteousness,
rightness, and justice, and of [my reasons for] Your praise all the day long.

James 1:19
19Understand [this], my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear [a ready listener], slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry.
Amplified Bible (AMP)

James 1:26
If anyone thinks himself to be religious (piously observant of the external duties of his faith) and does not bridle his tongue but deludes his own heart, this person's religious service is worthless (futile, barren).
 Amplified Bible (AMP)

James 3:5
Even so the tongue is a little member, and it can boast of great things.

See how much wood or how great a forest a tiny spark can set ablaze!

James 3:6
And the tongue is a fire. [The tongue is a] world of wickedness set among our members, contaminating and depraving the whole body and setting on fire the wheel of birth (the cycle of man's nature), being itself ignited by hell (Gehenna).

James 3:8
But the human tongue can be tamed by no man. It is a restless (undisciplined, irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly poison.
 Amplified Bible (AMP)

1 Peter 3:9
Never return evil for evil or insult for insult (scolding, tongue-lashing, berating), but on the contrary blessing [praying for their welfare, happiness, and protection, and truly pitying and loving them]. For know that to this you have been called, that you may yourselves inherit a blessing [from God--that you may obtain a blessing as heirs, bringing welfare and happiness and protection].
 Amplified Bible (AMP)

1 Peter 3:10
For let him who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good--whether apparent or not] keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from guile (treachery, deceit).
 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Philippians 2:11
And every tongue [ frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Psalm 30:12
To the end that my tongue and my heart and everything glorious within me may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
<3 Thank you for visiting my blog. <3

I  hope you enjoyed this... I WILL be working on these things, myself. My prayer is that all who have heard this have ears to hear, as it is written....

My apollogies for any mistakes or pauses in the video taping as this is my first  attempt trying to do this; and anyone who really knows me, knows that I love to write and talk one on one, but my preference is to stay in the background

Blessings,
Sz
PS (There is a reason in case you missed the explanation, for me covering my mouth during this video ; it is because I believe that is what the LORD told me to do... to be effective in this video. )

Matthew 5 and The Beatitudes

Matthew 5 and The Beatitudes

(A few of my thoughts before the actual study)

This is my personal Bible study on the Beatitudes, in chapter five in Matthew. Mu intention is to brake it down, taking it slow so that can go to the original language spoken for it's definition. I've been told and also read that the Jewish, Hebrew Greek languages are so different in so many ways, for example: it is a picturesque language, and there are just some words, that cannot be translated... therefore I feel the need to go to several translations as well to make it perfectly clear to the best of my ability, helping to make the translation, or transliteration of some verses and words in the Bible, so clear that by His Holy Spirit, will be able to find what it is that I am looking for and also, to gain revelation from reading as I go along... and learning to hear HIS still small VOICE from HIS WORD, which is LOVE.

I believe this is so very important which, in fact, this is my ultimate goal. To understand the WORD of GOD the way the writer, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote it, through men, chosen by God, Himself... giving me the Wisdom, Guidance, Knowledge, Understanding, and Discernment, that I need to get through my life on a daily basis.

Taking all this into consideration, if you would just bear with me as I go through my study this way, hoping then, to also be able to share it with others... and make it mine, planted as a seed, rooted deeply, so that I will be able to walk by faith and not by sight; so that I will be able to live being led only, by HIS HOLY SPIRT, and not by my flesh.

God is Love, I want to portray that in my life every day, so that when someone looks at me, they don't see Susie, they see a woman of GOD transformed by the renewing of her mind, studying the WORD, showing herself/myself, a workman, rightly dividing the WORD OF TRUTH.

It is so important for me personally, I take this very seriously, my studies, and my walk with Christ as a new creation in Him... without His righteousness, I am nothing, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and intend to work out my own salvation, growing in faith, praying for hope, and speaking words that only encourage and lift up the hearers, leading people to Christ, so that all would see ONLY HIS LOVE In me, and not me... but the Susie Parent, that is a sinner, just forgiven by HIS UNMERRITED GRACE and FAVOR. Glory to God, and Thank you, Jesus that I am able, to daily go now, to the Throne of Grace and repent, turn from my sins, and forgive other, loving them along the journey He has chosen for me, here on this earth.
We are here today and gone tomorrow as it is written, like a blade of grass.

He is coming again, and said will He find any faith when He returns? I want to say YES, Lord... Here I am, send me.

I have a great desire for souls, evangelism and intercession. I believe the WORD for what it is and says. I thank God for His Word and Grace and believe that no matter what we are living, or going through, (because everyone is going through something, some worse than others) we have Joy unspeakable and Peace that passes all human understanding. Which, if we Obey, Him, and cleave to Him and His Word, Statutes, that He will protect us.

Lastly, before I actually get started in this study, another reason I feel so strongly about studying the WORD for myself, and is written that the enemy can come on as an angel of light, and the WORD of GOD if not praying while you are reading making it your worship, I would even to as far to say, believing that with all of my being. The demons believe and tremble, as it is written, therefore, we must not only believe, but as it is translated/defined in the Greek ~ trust, believe, rely on and put into action in our lives. His WORD, being led by HIS HOLY SPIRIT and not our flesh, so that we can have the gifts, benefits, and blessings that are HIS promises for all who would come and answer HIS call... Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. He loves us/you, so much that HE (John 3:16) died for us so that we could live, taking on our sin, the fore becoming our righteousness... so that we would some day, at our appointed time, meet Him and rule and reign with Him in eternal life.

I don't know about you, but that excites me, and I love every thing in this book... I have been reading and studying now for over 35 years, and I am still finding new things HE is teaching me in HIS WORD.
His Word is LIFE. It's alive and real and can touch your life and give you hope, because as it is also written in Proverbs, hope deferred makes the heart sick. God doesn't want us live in despair, or hopelessness. He wants us to be happy, and have a good life. He created us, He knows what is good and bad for us, and the handbook for this life of ours, is in fact, The One and Only Bible... 66 books, written by and inspired by the Holy Spirit, for our guidance. When He left us to sit at the right hand of the Father of Mercies, He sent to us The Comforter to lead us into all truth... We are not left orphans... that is where, prayer and the Bible come in and why it is so important to read, study, and listen to when preached. (testing every spirit, because not all are from Him) even those things He teaches us, from the simplest to the most difficult things we could possibly be living, there is an answer for us, yes, everyone of us, in HIS WORD. Trust Him, He loves you and wants to share His Love with you and your family..

We can have HIS Joy Unspeakable and understand and be warned of all things, as it is also written, all we have to do is make ourselves available to him; He is waiting at the door of every heart waiting to be invited into your hearts... Nothing is by compulsion, everything by Grace... He is a Gentleman, Meek, yet like a Lion of Judah... roaring, speaking out the Truth for all who will listen, obey and come into the fold, which HE will accept (you) as one of HIS own, immediately, and throw all your past into the sea of forgetfulness as though they had never existed, completely blotted out... all you have to do is forgive yourself and follow HIM.

I hope you take this free gift for yourself, I know HE wants you to and all the Angels rejoice in heaven at the repentance and salvation of every soul here on earth. Rejoice, again I say rejoice... today is the day of salvation, don't let it pass you by... Today is the day the LORD has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

This day, I have chosen life; we have a choice, life and death, I choose life... It's written, death and life are held in the power of the tongue. James talks about the tongue and how dangerous such a small thing is, and our words, all throughout the Bible are also so important. No unwholesome word should come out of our mouths... does salt and fresh water come from the same fountain, or two different fruits from one tree? no... He does not want us to be lukewarm, but hot or cold.

Ultimately, for myself I want to continue learning with HIS Help, and apply it to my life today and everyday... Growing in Him, God, The Father, In The Name of Jesus of Nazareth. I believe and have such a strong desire, zeal and love for the WORD of GOD, that I want to dig deep, to find what The Holy Spirit has for me daily in these studies. I want to hear His Still Small Voice, be obedient to the direction I go and how far in depth I do for each day.
So, all that being said, I pray you will not only take time for yourselves to check these things out but enjoy what I have shared, and then share it with others, because that is what my heart is in this for, reaching out for others to touch them with the Love of God... Thank you, for stopping by...
Blessings,

Believe ~ Cleave to ~ Trust ~ Rely on ~ and have Faith in HIS WORD/Message

WE MUST: Believe ~ Cleave to ~ Trust ~ Rely on ~ and have Faith in HIS WORD/Message

John 6:29 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Verse 29 Jesus replied, This is the work (service) that God asks of you: that you believe in the One Whom He has sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Messenger].

What mus we do with HIS MESSAGE?
WE MUST: Believe ~ Cleave to ~ Trust ~ Rely on ~ and have Faith in HIS WORD/Message.

In Reference to Healing:
Psalm 103:3-5 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Verse: 3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases...

Who? Jesus! He is the ONE Who Came to earth in Human Flesh to live and die for our sins so we might have eternal life.
Reference Scriptures: John 3:16, and all of Chapter 1 in John.

HOW MANY OF YOUR SINS?
ALL OF THEM; does anyone doubt that the BLOOD OF YESHUA is not strong enough to erase all your sins? NO! Heals ALL YOUR DISEASES? HOW MANY? ALL!

Does ANYONE DOUBT THAT HE HAS ALREADY Died for this purpose, to give us opportunity to receive Him as LORD into our lives because HE LOVED US, FIRST, and what HE did on the cross for us, HE HEALED ALL YOUR DISEASES ON THE CROSS WITH HIS BLOOD?

Proverbs 4:20-21 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Verse: 20 My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.
{Incline your ear to my sayings as it was written in HIS WORD! another translation}

Verse: 21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart.

DO NOT LET THEM DEPART FORM YOUR EYES!!!

I have heard it said this way:
Don't doubt the WORD, DOUBT the SYMPTOM'S LEGAL RIGHTS & PERMISSIONS, TO BE THERE!

Do not let them get away from your eyes, that is the promise, the Kingdom heritage for you
KEEP FOCUSED by continuing to fill your hearts and mind, with HIS WORD... Guard Your Hearts and Mind and renew them with HIS WORD praying unceasingly for yourselves and each other... that we would not fall into temptation....

There is power in the Spoken WORD Of GOD because IT is ALIVE
It is JESUS THE CHRIST IN THE ONE in WHOM ALL THINGS were created!

Behold, NOW is the accepted time Behold NOW is the day of Salvation!

So, Today if You Hear... Open your hearts to Him as HE waits at the DOOR OF YOUR HEARTS ~ invite HIM In... Don't say there is NO ROOM at the inn of your hearts... Make room for HIM... Give HIM all of yourself... He will transform you by the renewing of your minds in HIS WORD and you will become a new creation!

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven...
Is there any sickness in heaven? IS there any sin in heaven? NO NO
Your Kingdom be done on Earth as it Is in Heaven... Find out what's going on in heaven and that's what God's Directed you to do on earth!
Proverbs 4:21 Amplified Bible (AMP)
keep them in the midst of your heart!

You see, in your heart is where you believe, get those promises into your heart and then GUARD your heart and your mind from the Enemy. Keep them in your heart for they are life ONLY to those who find them...
LIFE ONLY IF YOU FIND THEM ~ NOT LIFE IF YOU DON"T FIND THEM ~ )

As written here in:Proverbs 4:22 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Verse 22: For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.

Or Health/Medicine to ALL their flesh!
Matthew 10:1 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Verse 1: AND JESUS summoned to Him His twelve disciples and gave them power and authority over unclean spirits, to drive them out, and to cure all kinds of disease and all kinds of weakness and infirmity.

THEN...
Matthew 10:7-8 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Verse 7: And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand!

BUT YOU Have to, GO! GO! GO!

Preaching/SPEAKING OUT LOUD THE GOSPEL OF TRUTH ~ The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, & I can prove it to you by Healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers, driving out demons!!!!!! THESE are the WORDS of our MESSIAH ~ THIS IS NORMAL, and anything short of this is religious)
Verse: 8 Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely (without pay) you have received, freely (without charge) give.

Mark 16:17-18 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Verse 17: attesting signs will accompany those who believe:

BELIEVE: remembering that the devil believes and trembles so how far does your belief in Jesus really go? Have you given yourself over to HIM completely?
In My name
HIS NAME ~ JESUS - YESHUA - THE ANOINTED ONE, Jesus the Christ from NAZARETH

Verse 17a: they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;
Verse 18 : They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.

else's, they are HIS PROMISES TO ALL THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN HIM/HIS WORD and His Word does not come back to us null and void but it accomplishes that which HE sent it forth to do.
Reference: (Isaiah)

Believe that the seed that was planted in your heart, the WORD of GOD, will not be carried away with the cares of life, or stolen from the enemy who comes immediately to steel the WORD when spoken, if you're not careful to keep it there, to water it, and nurture it so that it takes root and grows into maturity.

I often remember something I heard someone say about this subject of the seed when planted needs time in the farmers field to be nurtured, watered, weeds pulled out, etc, so that in time, the right time, it would be harvested. There is always time for the seed to germinate and grow. Of course, the story in the bible comes to mind of the man that received the same wages at the end of the day as the man who received the promise of wages at the beginning of the day and so on... and when asked about it, the answer was that it is God who determines these things, in so many words, and when the end comes for the LAST DAY... if your seed has just been planted and you are ready, as the man on the cross near Jesus was ready that day, his time of germination and growth was quick. Jesus told him he would see in today in Paradise. Just as the man who received the same wages at the end of the day received his salvation at the last minute and the man who has worked hard (Faith without works is dead, as it is written) his whole life when his time for Glory comes, they will receive the same chance at salvation.

Just as the seed of a child in the womb is not seen right away but the mother knows she is pregnant, and trust, believes and relies on this truth, and the baby grows within her... the SEED the WORD OF GOD is planted in our hearts and grows and the truth makes itself known and in the NAME OF JESUS the enemy must flee! Just as Jesus said in the Gospel that they were healed as they went, there are some instant miracles and then there are healings that are gradual, the HOLY SPIRIT works as HE WILLS... but HE DOES WORK! TRUST RELY AND BELIEVE HIM AT HIS WORD.

They will lay hands... Who are they? Those who believe...
Who are those who believe? Those who have received the TRUTH in their hearts and do NOT accept anything less than HIS WORD and walk by faith not by sight like those of FAITH in Hebrews Chapter 11 the Faith Chapter. Read the Acts of the Apostles to also build your faith along with the WORDS of JESUS in HIS GOSPELS... as often as necessary until you have it in your heart and NO ONE CAN STEAL IT FROM YOU!

Ultimately, let every man be a liar and ONLY GOD'S WORD IS THE TRUTH! As it is written.
2 Corinthians 6:2 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Verse 2: For He says, In the time of favor (of an assured welcome) I have listened to and heeded your call, and I have helped you on the day of deliverance (the day of salvation). Behold, now is truly the time for a gracious welcome and acceptance [of you from God]; behold, now is the day of salvation!
Verse 4: Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy;
Verse 5: Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle's [strong, overcoming, soaring]!

Blessed be the Name of GOD ~ Let all those who reverently fear and Love the LORD PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME and GIVE HIM GLORY HONOR AND PRAISE ~ or the very rocks will praise HIM... (I don't want any rock to take my place Praising the LORD!) HE WILL BE PRAISED... and every knee shall bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord... Why not do it now, receive Him now. Don't wait until it's too late and the doors are closed; you WILL bow and Praise Him in the end anyway and find Him to be Who He has said He is in Glory at the Last Day. SELAH!

Amen & Amen
Blessings & Happy New Year!

Bethlehem which means the House of Bread ~ Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life

Bethlehem which means the House of Bread

Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life

I just think it's interesting that the Bread of Life was born into a town called Bethlehem, meaning the House of Bread, and placed into a feeding trough, to be born of Love, giving His life as food (Spiritual food) for our Eternal life. Without Him our spiritual man does starve... We were created in His Image to be fed by Him, His Word, which He IS.

"Jesus replied, I AM the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time)." John 6:35 AMP

In the Still of the Night or in Hard Times ~ What is God Saying to You

In the Still of the Night or in Hard Times
What is God Saying to You

Just a Word of Encouragement

What are you going through right now during this season in your life? We are in the midst of the Holidays, from what ever background/religion you find yourself, Our God, is not partial and all are welcome, come as you are. For many people the Christmas season or holidays are the hardest of times... He understands and GOD is Here for you, Jesus the Christ Died and paid the price for you and is just waiting for you to come to Him, invite him into your heart, and He is ready to take your burden from you and help you right where you are. He said come to Me all you who are weary and I will give you rest. Put your life at the cross and give Him your heart. It is also written that He will give you the desires of your heart. And that you can do all things through Christ, Jesus who strengthens you. He can give you a peace that passes all human understanding and joy unspeakable...  miraculously, you will find peace and joy in Him even in the most difficult situations.

Are you feeling inadequate, looking for a job that has taken too long to find, financially bound, physically ill or a debilitating, disabling disease or condition, depressed, trying to make a decision without any clear vision,  or just down right in a rut... what ever your area of need is, do you need help? He is here for you.

God Does See Your area of need and knows your prayers and heart before you even ask Him

Are your needs, Emotional, Physical, Financial, Jobs, Family relationships or fill in the blank_____________________________________ . It's between you and Him.

GOD IS LOVE and He Does Care About You

How do we answer these and so many other questions that plague us, especially during these very passionate and emotional times in our lives? God has answers to all these questions if we are willing to open our hearts to him so we can hear what He is saying to us. His Word gives us all we need for guidance to these and many other questions.

After coming to this point in our lives where we have made the decision to let Him come into our lives and help us, guide us, take the reigns as I like to say... it's easier that you might think. The Word teaches us, after inviting Him in, and reading it to find out who He is to us, He gives us miraculous understanding as His Word comes alive for us, specific to us in our own personal lives. You will be amazed at the things you will read that have immediate application for your life both now and for your future. It is also written that He has a plan and a future for us. Do you want to know what that is? Just read His Word and He will show you by His Holy Spirit. Those who worship Him worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. The truth will set you free after finding it in His Word. He will help you to uncover the truth as you read and bring your mindset into the path of the righteousness of Christ through Whom you can become. He will give you all the tools you need to find your way in this world and the next... Yes, the Next world is coming, we are givin eternal life when we live in Him. We become new creations, and He helps us along this journey finding our way, not blind but with vision, His vision for us. He will show you how to see yourself through His eyes, and gently guide you into that truth and life renewing your minds with the Word which will be your life's Passion as you will come to know and appreciate... giving Him all the glory which He is due.

He reads our hearts and minds, and His still small voice, speaks to our spirits, to let us know what He wants from us and for us, if we are listening. When praying, also give some time to meditate on His Words that you have hidden in your heart and then give Him time to speak to you in your heart and spirit. Be quiet before Him and rest in Him.

He speaks to us out of His Word. So, you must, read it to hear what He is saying to you... then be still and know that He is God. Go into your prayer closet and speak to Him as if you were speaking to your best friend, mother, father... whoever it is you feel closest to hear on this earth to share things with... and just talk, to Him. If there isn't anyone here on this earth, then you are in the right place, because He is just waiting to listen to you, and hear all about your life and what you are doing and help you with your life and plans. He will guide and direct you with His Holy Spirit with Counsel, from the Great Counselor, The Holy Spirit, which is why He sent Him when HE/Jesus said, I go but send the Comforter to you, and He can not come unless I go...

He is our Comforter and yes, we can have joy even during hard times, because He give us Joy unspeakable. He gives us Peace that passes all human understanding when we read His word and pray, speaking His Words which have power. It may seem hard to believe or understand, but from personal experience, there is no way to explain what God can do and has done, and will continue to do in your lives when He comes in and takes over for you. It is also written that He will give His angels charge over you and they are there to (among other things) take the spoken Word that is written and run with it... as it says in Isaiah... The Word does not come back to Him without accomplishing what he sent it forth to do.

When you do give Him the reigns to your life, you won't have to be anxious for anything. See my last post on Laying Aside Every Weight, for scriptures and personal study in this area. http://susies4evereternallythankful.blogspot.com/2011/11/laying-aside-every-weight.html

Go to www.blueletterbible.org and www.biblegateway.com for a word study on what ever it is you are going through. Type in a word, like fear, anxious, faith, love, forgiveness, husband, wife, children or marriage. Whatever your needs are, go to Him with it in His Word and see what He has to say about it... and then as I said above, go to your prayer closet and wait on Him for an answer after meditating on those verses He leads you to.

He is a Big God and Can Handle whatever it is that you are going through! He Loves you unconditionally!

Trust Him with your life ~ Give it over to Him, let go and let God. Do not put Him in a box and expect that He will do something that you have seen Him do in someone else's life. You are an individual. He is a creative God; just look at this world we are living in and all His creation.

He Never Sleeps Or Slumbers ~ He is waiting to hear from you even in the midst of your sleepless nights.

He is a loving and forgiving God. Tell Him your hurts, and He will guide you through carrying you all the way.

When you do hear from Him, and you will know when you do, listen to Him and do it His way not yours. You won't be sorry. Sometimes it seems to difficult to do things His way at first, if you are not used to giving up your will to Him. But with time and practice, you will find He has your best interest at heart and All things will turn out for the good for all those who are the called by His Name in Christ Jesus. Even things you just didn't get right and wished you had, He can turn those things around and make the best of them.

I am praying and thinking of you as you read this, know that you have the greatest Intercessor, Jesus Christ sitting at the right hand of the Father, praying and interceding for you on your behalf when you accept Him into your life. He prayed for you in John chapter 17, yes you... all those years ago, when He prayed to the Father, before His death and resurrection. Trust Him, have Faith in Him, rely on Him, He will not disappoint you. Give Him your heart and all that is in it. Don't leave out any dark corner, He sees it anyway... it just makes it easier if you give it all right from the start. He created you and knew you from the beginning, even in the womb. He knows how to help you and give you the love you desire.

May the Lord Bless you and Keep you and Make His Face to Shine upon you and give you Peace.

Blessings,
Sz

Laying Aside Every Weight

Running Your Race

As my heart began thinking on these things, and the race we are running, I started researching some verses to go along with it. Upon reading some of the ones in the very beginning, it occurred to me, (I believe, not by chance, but by the nudging of the Holy Spirit) to write His Words alone!  I have added a few personal notes in between, here and there, and a personal note at the end.

So, here you go... I could not, cannot, would never be able to say it any better than our LORD, our GOD and Saviour, JESUS THE CHRIST, and our HOLY SPIRIT already did in HIS WORD... the VERY WORD, Jesus Christ who became flesh and dwelt among us...

John 1:14
And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.
John 1:13-15 (in Context) John 1 (Whole Chapter)

There are so many things I would like to say about running the race and laying aside every weight that entangles us... because that is really what this is all about, when we follow after HIM. There can be and are so many distractions in this life.

My words hold no weight, but His Word is alive, so I will share just a few of the many I could have chosen that help me, personally to get through this journey. We are all called into our own walk with Him as we walk along family, friends, and others we've just been acquainted with along the way; but we do, in fact, affect other lives on our journey. My prayer is to walk in a way that would not grieve the Holy Spirit.

If you've heard nothing else, please hear this... We are all in this together... and it is a work in progress. We all make mistakes but we can move forward, with His help; but we are given a second chance with HIM, Jesus Christ. He has made all things right and will help us through if we will just let HIM. We are growing from Glory to Glory and seated in Heavenly places with Him... let Him guide your walk... let Him take the reigns of your life, and you will not be sorry. Of course, it will not always be easy but it will give you peace that surpasses all human understanding.

Before I continue, I would like to say that I have been married for 29 plus years, with grown, married children and grandchildren. I have been along the way both a working and a stay at home mom throughout many years. At this point in my life, I am an empty nester. Daily I am reminded to pray and heavily relied on the Bible. It is my FOOD, my spiritual food. Without food we are not sustained. Even our Spirits need food. Proverbs chapter 31 as a mom and wife  have taught me so much, and the daily study the Word for myself. I was born and raise a Christian, but before I came to the understanding that I couldn't do this myself, (I never really understood or read the Bible) I didn't know or understand how important His Word was. There isn't one day that goes by now, since I have made Jesus Christ the Lord over all areas of my life and invited Him into to take the reigns, that I haven't been thankful, grateful and felt the Grace that Only HE can provide to sustain me in this life.

There is not one day that passes that I have not learned something new from His Word... It really is amazing to me that after all these years of reading and studying the Bible that there are still new things there for me to learn and grow in, even things I haven't seen before have just jumped off the pages. (even though I've many times over read the whole thing through)

I write this during a trial in my own life, among many trials we do go through and will continue to go through; I am praying, studying and talking with you, all the while being reminding, myself of HIS grace and unconditional love along with His Promises. His Word is full of Promises for us. I hope you will take the time to search out the ones that apply to your life now. There is something for everyone for every period of time in each one of our lives.
