Autumn Is Here ~ The Harvest Is Plentiful ~ He Is At The Door

Autumn Is Here ~ The Harvest Is Plentiful ~ He Is At The Door

Autumn is a time of Harvesting crops as we normally think of it ~ and a beautiful harvest we have been blessed with this year and last from our garden. As I walked around our home this week and enjoyed the bounty God has given to us, I thought about how God feels when He compares a garden and the seed you plant in it comparing it to people. We are His garden. He has planted seeds and there are many hearts to be harvested. He has given us a job to do here on this earth and that is to share with everyone who crosses our path, the Gospel of Truth, The Word of God, The Way, Jesus the Christ and what He did for us, so that All might come to the knowledge of the truth and have eternal life... turning from their own ways and trusting, relying on Him alone... then knowing that we are His and at His coming, He will greet us and say to us, as Paul so beautifully puts it: Well Done Thy Good and Faithful Servant.

I for one, want to hear those words for myself, and pray that the Lord helps me daily to plant the seed of His Word into the Hearts of men, where I have prayed for them that their hearts might be fertile ground. That the seed would have deep roots, and God would send others to water it with the Truth of His Word and it would grow into a great Tree.

God compares the faith we are given as it is written as a mustard seed. That is all we need. The mustard seed grows into one of the largest trees sturdy and strong. Often throughout the Word of God, He uses examples of trees as people. There are many parables or stories in the bible to make things easier to understand. Jesus in the New Testament used these to give His disciples an understanding of what He was trying to say to them.

I pray that as you are enjoying the falling of leaves, the changing of seasons, the harvesting of your plants and vegetables that you would consider in your hearts the things I have shared with you today.

I pray for you that your hearts would be filled with great joy, as it is written, joy unspeakable, and peace that surpasses all human understanding. I pray for you to get Wisdom, Love, Understand, Discernment, Guidance, Truth & Hope for your hearts.

If you want to, check out one of my favorite pieces of scripture where Jesus actually prays for you, himself, yes, that is right, you heard me, He actually prayed for you over 2000 years ago... in the Gospel of John chapter 17 verse 20, along with some other verse I have posted for you below.

I hope this will give you a nugget to get you digging for your own piece of Gold in His Word. You won't be sorry; I'm sure you will love it as I have come to love it. It is the Best Book I have ever read... and the only one that I never tire of reading over and over again, each time learning something new from His Holy Spirit Who was sent to Guide us into all truth.

Blessings to all of you,

I have posted some pictures below of a few pictures from my home garden and some things around our home I love and enjoy doing, like canning the peaches from our peach trees and more! Enjoy.
